📖 Story Synopsis 🡣

" The Legend of icons Hot Blooded," set in the ultimate half of the Southern Song Dynasty, follows the Guo and the Yang families, who made apre-natal pledge to produce sworn siblings or marry if boy and girl. Unfortunately, the families are both taken before the pledge could be fulfilled by migrating Jin dogfaces. The sole orphan children, Guo Jing and Yang Kang, have been raised else by martial trades masters to retaliate the deaths of their families .
Guo Jing is trained by the righteous Seven Freaks of Jiangnan, growing into an honorable and conscientious grown-up, while Yang Kang is espoused by a Jin prince, with bournes to uncrown the Jin Napoleon while easing the return of the Southern Song dynasty . Guo Jing is now joined by Huang Rong, a smart and audacious girl, as they navigate the martial trades world, meeting musketeers and foes along the way .
The complex brotherly connections between Guo Jing and Yang Kang have transitioned into contest and abomination, leading to multitudinous conflicts that test individual commitment and beliefs amongst others .
The environment of war and the conflict between characters allows the series to address some of the traditional themes of chivalry, fidelity, and nationalism set up in a time when martial trades community was vibrant, but in the murk of war- torn dynasty . Directed by Yang Lei, the drama is one of the corridor of a continued artistic movement to contemporize Wuxia cinema.
