Set in 1998 in Busan, Love Untangled follows 19- time-old Park Se- ri, a high academy pupil who's so tone-conscious about her curled hair that she believes it's a significant chain to love. Se- ri has a crush on Kim Hyun, the handsome player at academy, but does n't have the confidence to approach him. Se- ri's luck changes after she rescues Han Yun- seok from drowning.
Yun- seok is a mysterious transfer pupil from Seoul. After they strike up a fellowship, Se- ri learns that Yun- seok's mama runs a hair salon that has a veritably popular hair- uncurling treatment. Se- ri convinces Yun- seok, who's nursing an injury, to help him navigate academy life and, in return, she gets a hair appointment with his mama and the hair- uncurling treatment. With her new and beautiful hair, she's eventually going to tell Kim Hyun she likes him. Just twinkles before she was to confess to Kim Hyun, Se- ri starts to realize her passions are n't toward the popular player but toward Han, who likes her for who she is.
