Life Is Beautiful( 2022) is a touching and inspirational South Korean musical road movie full of joy, anguish, and nostalgia. Shouldering the death judgment of terminal cancer, devoted woman
and mama Oh Se- yeon is seeing the end of her life and asks her unintentional hubby, Jin- bong, to use her birthday want as an occasion to find her first love, indeed though they've nothing to go on other than a name and some vague recollections. As they travel across the country to fulfill her birthday want, they go on a trip of detection, which eventually becomes a detection of their own love story. Accompanied by a soundtrack of Korean pop songs from the 1970s to 2000s, Life Is Beautiful is a jukebox musical about life, love, and how beautiful it's to partake recollections with those we love.
