" Castle in the Time" is a 2023 – 2024 Chinese romantic comedy- drama series acclimated from the novel of the same name by Jiao Jiao . The story follows Xu Zhen( played by Park Min Young), a bright and auspicious paleontology pupil who applies for a job at Jiang Ye Entertainment to attune her separated parents. Her mama is a director at the company, and Xu Zhen hopes to mend their simulated family relationship, especially since her father is seriously ill .
During her time at the company, Xu Zhen accidentally substantiations Gu Chi Jun( played by Zhang Zhe Han), a narcissistic and popular actor, being rejected by hisex-girlfriend. To cover his pride, Gu Chi Jun attempts to force Xu Zhen out of the company to help her from exposing his embarrassment. still, Xu Zhen's adaptability and determination win him over, and she becomes his particular adjunct .
As their relationship develops from conflict to collective respect and love, Xu Zhen uncovers a conspiracy within the company involving its chairman, Lin Jinyang. With the help of Gu Chi Jun and Lin Jinxiu( played by Xu Ke), the alternate son of Lin Jinyang, she works to expose the wrongdoing, all while navigating the troubles that arise from her discoveries .
The series blends rudiments of love, comedy, and suspension, exploring themes of family, love, and integrity. It features a love triangle between Xu Zhen, Gu Chi Jun, and Lin Jinxiu( who is also Xu Zhen's nonage friend) . The drama concludes with Gu Chi Jun proposing to Xu Zhen during a film awards form, and the couple achieving a happy ending
