Weak Idol Class 1 is a South Korean action drama grounded on the webtoon of the same name. It follows Yeon Si- eun( Park Ji- hoon), a intellectually brilliant but physically weak pupil who's intelligent and always at the top of his class. Si- eun is shy and frequently withdrawn, but loud bullies afflict him with Jeon Yeong- bin( Kim Su- gyeom) at the top of the pecking order, who taunts him for being smart and not hysterical to show it.
Rather than lose to sweat, Si- eun uses his intellect, knowledge of drugs, and revulsions to defend himself. His unconventional approach involves using everyday objects, as munitions, and cerebral attacks him grounded on what he knows will bothersome to them. This strategy gains him notoriety as an unconventional but intimidating foe.
As intimidation mounts, Si- eun builds a group comprising of two scholars Ahn Su- ho( Choi Hyun- wook), an MMA athlete who works part- time to help support his family, and eventually acts as Si- eun's sentry Oh Beom- seok( Hong Kyung), a sartorially weak transfer pupil of fat but vituperative family. At first through declination and bullying, Beom- seok joins the bully group but latterly tries to redeem himself. Each of the individualities struggle to survive in a vicious pecking order of academy violence, who dealt with violence in different classrooms.
