The Law Cafe is a romantic comedy K-drama centered around Kim Jeong-ho, a genius former prosecutor turned cynical landlord, and Kim Yu-ri, a passionate and fiery lawyer who establishes a unique "Law Cafe," where customers can receive actual legal advice with their coffee.
Once law school classmates and former lovers, Yu-ri and Jeong-ho are reunited after Yu-ri begins renting a space for her interesting cafe in Jeong-ho's building. However, Yu-ri's idealistic personality and Jeong-ho's jaded realism cause some tension. They also share a shared interest in helping clients solve legal troubles, and begin to rebuild their friendship at an awkward pace. Sometimes this leads to humorous moments or tense moments, but always leads to heartwarming moments as they start to deal with their feelings again after so long apart.
